International students houseInternational Students House achieved 48th place in the Sunday Times 100 Best Not-for-Profit Organisations to work for, at an awards ceremony held last night, 27th February 2013.

This year The Sunday Times Best Companies and Best Not-For-Profit Organisations to Work for lists were derived from 896 organisations and from over 240,000 employees who filled out an employee survey.

The top companies list is evaluated on workplace engagement, which is assessed through detailed employee surveys and an Organisation Questionnaire.
“It’s an honour to be recognised in the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Not-for-Profit Organisations list and a great achievement to be placed 48th amongst other highly impressive organisations”, said International Students House Executive Director, Peter Anwyl.

“This award demonstrates the importance given to upholding good employment practices throughout the organisation and giving employees the knowledge, skills and opportunity to make a difference in their organisation”.

This is the first year that International Students House took part in the Best Companies accreditation process. Not only has it been a great achievement, but the feedback report has provided valuable information on the company’s strengths and knowledge on the areas that require improvement.
